FYI: The mural at the Vinzons Hall Lobby was done originally by the UP Artists’ Circle Fraternity in 1978 with Prof. Neil Doloricon, Prof. Benjie Cabangis, Mariano del Rosario , Rock Drilon (to name a few). All of these artists are highly-esteemed both in the local and international art scene. The mural itself was featured in “Arts in the Campus” at the 75 Diamond Anniversary Coffee table book entitled “UP a University of (or for) the People”.

We are aware that some retouch was done by another organization but we object to it only to extent that we were not commissioned as an organization for the retouch. Otherwise members of that said organization who did the mural were mostly members of the UP Artists’ Circle Fraternity.

Mr. Joseph Guttierez is right and we are going to do a new mural for the Vinzons Hall and we intend to keep the old one and restore it. But our alumnus Professor Neil Doloricon ‘74 has already been commissioned to do his mural at the Vinzons Hall, beforehand.

Hi! I need to take two GE courses at UPD this summer. (I’ll be cross-registering from UPV.) I understand that the classes will each be two hours daily. I’d like to know the times of the classes. Do you know where I can find this out? (I need an AH and an SSP and I have my eyes on Theatre 12 and Anthropology 10 or Geography 1. Can you please tell me what time these classes will be?) Thanks! =)

There is a subtle irony to an anti-commercialization article appearing next to a whole bunch of sponsor logos (UP fair sponsors). Not that there’s anything wrong with that, I just found it a tad bit ironic
